How do I install the Tune Keeper and do I need to modify my guitar to do so?
Installing the Tune Keeper requires no modification to your guitar whatsoever. To install the Tune Keeper, simply:
Loosen the strings and gently and dust the area of the head-stock just above the nut as this is where the Tune Keeper will be placed. The Tune Keeper is not designed to place any substantial force on the guitar head-stock in order to stay in place. Instead, it is kept in place by the tension of the strings. Nevertheless, you will want to make sure that the area where the Tune Keeper will rest is reasonably free of abrasive debris or material before placing the Tune Keeper into position.
Place the Tune Keeper right above and touching the nut, with the curved outer portion facing upward, and “legs” facing downward, touching the nut.
Place the strings in their respective guides, as aligned with their respective notches in the nut.
Tune as normal.
